About

Our Mission & Vision

The mission of North Crossett First Baptist Church is to be a dynamic spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world.  We desire to be a worshiping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership; to experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers; to help people experience a growing knowledge of God and other humans by availing ourselves of opportunities for learning and personal Bible study; to be a church which ministers unselfishly to person in the community and the world in Jesus’ name; to be a church whose purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment of life, personality and possessions to the lordship of Christ.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

What we believe:

Southern Baptists have prepared a statement of generally held convictions called The Baptist Faith and Message. It serves as a guide to understanding who we, as Southern Baptists, are. Please view our doctrinal statement here.
